You choose the information you want, for the locations you want, from urgent public safety alerts to less time sensitive advisories and community information.
You choose how you want to receive the information, whether it is over your cell phone by text message, by email, or over the web.
You stay connected to what is happening in the communities and the locations that are relevant to you!
Joining: Visit http://www.Nixle.com and create an account. Then enter your email information and address to receive information to relevant to where you live and work.
Twitter Community Messages

How it Works: Twitter is a free service that allows people to communicate and stay connected through the exchange of quick short messages via cell phone text (SMS messages) or Twitter account.
Stay current with PCHD program events, such as the STD/HIV clinic, Pima Animal Care, Volunteering, and Family Planning.
Message topics include program events, press releases, volunteer opportunities, health awareness, etc.
Send messages to other users and friends from your cell phone.
Joining: Visit http://www.Twitter.com and create an account. After account is created, visit http://www.twitter.com/pchd and click "follow user" to start receiving messages through your profile.

How it Works: Facebook is a social utility that helps people communicate more efficiently with their friends, family and coworkers. Facebook allows you to share your messages, calendar, pictures, and more with your friends and family.
Do you have a Facebook account? Stay current with PCHD events and program updates such as Back-To-School Immunization and STD/HIV clinic locations and times.
Message topics include program events, press releases, volunteer opportunities, health awareness, etc.
Share PCHD information with family and friends including calendars, pictures, press releases, and posters.
Joining: Visit http://www.facebook.com and create an account. After account is created, visit our PCHD page and click "Become a Fan" to start receiving messages through your profile.
